Marketing 24/7 Named Winner of
9th Annual American Business Awards®
Marking its 5th National or International Award for Business Makeover Birmingham®
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – June 22, 2011 - Marketing 24/7, Inc. was named the Stevie Award winner at the 9th Annual American Business Awards® in the “Small-Budget Marketing Campaign of the Year” category. Award winners were presented during ceremonies held June 20, 2011 in New York at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on live radio by the Business TalkRadio Network®. Over 600 people representing some 215 organizations attended the awards ceremony.
“More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the finalists and winners,” said Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards the organizers of the American Business Awards. “The judges were tasked with choosing the winners in 40 award categories from more than 2,800 entries received from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry.”
The judges recognized Marketing 24/7 for the Business Makeover Birmingham® marketing program, which in the past year was recognized with four other international and national awards including the Platinum Award in the Hermes Creative Awards, the 7th Annual Stevie Awards for Women In Business, PR News’ Platinum PR Award, and the Clarion Award from the Association of Women In Communications.

Having concluded its second year, the Business Makeover Birmingham® project is a joint program with Corsini Consulting Group LLC, Dent Baker & Co. LLP, Cobbs Allen & Hall Inc., Maynard Cooper & Gale PC, Marketing 24/7 Inc., ServisFirst Bank and Samford University’s Brock School of Business. The Project Partners provided more than $30,000 worth of professional services and a strategic business makeover to a company selected from nominations received from dozens of Birmingham firms.
